I believe an artist’s thought has a voice that rings through their work to resonate with its audience. My work is an expression of that minimalism that reaches out to touch a cord with its viewer, hoping to provoke them to think and delve deeper within. This artwork called “Parched earth, balancing life” is a textured form representing a parched barren landscape, balancing life precariously even as it sprouts forth, embossed and embedded with rice grains in white porcelain. Life is resilient and victorious over the harshest circumstances. My work is a humble tribute to life and nature’s magnanimity; its continuous will to give in abundance.
