introduction

Skymast is inspired by the timeless silhouette of coastal lighthouses-structures built to guide sailors through the unknown. Translated into a personal object, it becomes a quiet guardian for interior spaces.

Crafted in solid teak and oak through pure hand-joinery, its warm glow mirrors the way light cuts through fog.

Skymast is a reminder that the real voyage is inward. It stands as a beacon for clarity, contemplation, and emotional anchoring-an invitation to return to yourself whenever the world feels turbulent.

Skymast is a compact tabletop lamp designed with the belief that simple forms, when made by hand, carry soul. The concept started with small sketches and wooden offcuts, testing how light interacts with height and proportion.

Every lamp begins as raw teak and oak. The wood is carved gently to reveal its natural lines, then shaped into the final profile. Each part is hand-sanded-sometimes for hours-to achieve a velvety surface. A Monocoat finish preserves its honest texture.

A small brass element is added, polished by hand. The electronics, built in-house, are fitted into the piece with care so the lamp remains fully portable.

The making of Skymast is slow, intentional, and rooted in the joy of craftsmanship.

reflection

Skymast embodies sonder, the realization that every person carries an entire world within them.

Just as ships cross each other briefly on open waters, the lives we encounter—strangers, friends, family- are full of unseen stories, private storms, quiet celebrations, and dreams that extend beyond our perception.

A lighthouse does not judge the sailor approaching its shore;

its light exists for anyone who needs it.

In the same way, Skymast becomes a reminder that:

Every human being is navigating their own journey

Every soul carries depth

Every encounter is meaningful

The warm circular glow symbolizes the invisible connections passing between people—moments when our paths align for a second and we become aware of the universes around us.

Skymast stands as a beacon of empathy, a quiet gesture of understanding:

that we are all travelers crossing the same vast sea, each holding a story worth illuminating.
