introduction

This collection draws inspiration from the primal symbolism of the womb as a source of fire, creation, and transformation. The works explore the womb not only as a biological space, but as a metaphor for origin, energy, and the quiet power of becoming. Within its depths lies a constant, generative heat, an elemental fire that nurtures life, creativity, and rebirth.

Crafted in engineered concrete, each piece carries a raw, earthen texture that evokes the primordial surfaces of rock and soil. The material’s solidity contrasts with the fluid, organic drapery of the forms, suggesting the coexistence of strength and vulnerability, permanence and movement. The sculptural contours appear to fold and flow, as though shaped by internal forces, echoing the rhythms of gestation and transformation.

Illumination becomes a symbolic presence within the works. The glowing interiors evoke embers held within a protective shell, representing the latent energy that resides within all beginnings. Light emerges from the cavities like a quiet flame, suggesting warmth, protection, and the unseen processes of creation.

Through this collection, the forms become architectures of origin , spaces that hold memory, potential, and elemental fire. They invite the viewer to contemplate the mystery of creation, the cyclical nature of life, and the profound strength embedded within nurturing spaces. The pieces ultimately speak to the idea that creation is both fragile and powerful, a quiet ignition that begins within hidden chambers before illuminating the world beyond.
