Created for the Sonder exhibition, Sola explores how individual experiences exist within a shared world. Its organically contoured top forms soft pockets—each one a small, distinct space that reflects the varied contexts we move through in life. Along the sculptural legs, uniquely placed spheres continue this narrative of singular moments threading along a common path.
Both functional and expressive, Sola captures the quiet beauty of individuality held within a collective form.
The collection explores the quiet understanding that every individual carries a world as intricate as our own. Across the three pieces—Oblika, Sola, and Vena—this idea is interpreted through form, rhythm, and subtle irregularity.
Oblika, with its ascending column and uniquely placed spheres, reflects parallel narratives moving along a shared path. Sola expands this notion through its organic top, where soft pockets represent the varied contexts we inhabit, while the spheres embedded in its legs echo singular moments within a common structure. Vena expresses interconnectedness through a network of carved legs—similar at first glance, yet each angled differently, revealing the individuality that lies beneath apparent uniformity.
Together, these pieces form a sculptural meditation on coexistence: separate stories held within a collective framework, each adding depth to the spaces we share.
